Old blokes Hijack MBUKids ride

My mate Dave Johnson got wind of a an MBUK forum ride on his home patch of Cannock Chase. So we gatecrashed, mainly to embarrass the organiser, Alex "Spunky Alice". However after 40 mins the kids on DH bikes and Jump bikes (average age 15)were dropped so the old blokes and a couple of the quicker kids carried on with a loop of the Chase Trails XC loop, a quick butty at the Birches Forest Cafe, and the a trip to the DH course for a quick impromptu jump comp between Stu Tite and Will (Will won on points).
Stu was kind enough to lend me his Kona Stinky Freeride bike and his Full face helmet. It was like being at Whistler again. As much as I'm loving the Hardtail, Big Bikes can be fun.
We also found some shonky shore as well, so carnage ensued.
The old 'Never say "one last go" rule' was proven again.

The trails varied from being super dry and covered in small pebbles (i.e. slidey as feck) to a touch on the wet side.

Good Riding+Decent riders+Sausage and bacon Sandwich = Top day out.
